As part of its recently announced “TIME WELL SHARED” initiative, IWC Schaffhausen will promote a personal volunteering program for its employees.
In their own free time, and on an individual and voluntary basis, employees are encouraged to offer online tutoring support for schoolchildren in basic subjects, such as mathematics or foreign languages.
The goal is to support young people and their parents who are studying at home due to the current situation. The free online tuition will be facilitated by Good Tutors Finder, an international Tutoring Services company.
“As a mother, I know how challenging the current situation can be. Therefore, we want to encourage our employees to offer online tutoring support in their own free time. With this personal, voluntary commitment, we want to reinforce our promise to contribute to society and help to ensure that no child is left behind and the burden on parents is reduced,” says Franziska Gsell, CMO of IWC Schaffhausen and Chair of the Sustainability Committee.
“Good Tutors Finder is committed to enabling all children to develop their full potential. In addition to our paid home learning and tutoring services, we are delighted to partner with IWC to offer free tuition to children that otherwise might not be able to learn in the current environment,” says Chris Anicet, COO of Good Tutors Finder.
