The journey of the 7-story flagship resort began on November 26, 1994 when it opened its doors as one of the first luxury beach resorts in the Kingdom. At that time, the resort was made up of 267 rooms and suites, and several restaurants including Primavera, Nirvana, Plantation Lounge, Burlington Club, La Mediterranee, The Ranch and Lobby Tea Lounge.
